Shagun शगुन

03 / A few things you might wonder
It is the book where a family writes down the shagun (chandlo in Gujarati) each guest gives at a wedding: name, city or village, amount or gift, and the function. Families keep it for vyavhar (vehvar), so they know what to give back at the other family’s functions. Vehvar is that register on your phones.
Yes. Record cash, UPI or a gift for each entry, for any function you add, such as Mehndi, Haldi, Lagna, Reception or the rituals where neg is given.
No. Guests give the usual way, in cash, by UPI or as a gift. Vehvar only records it.
No. Guests do nothing. Desk people open the link in their phone’s browser and enter the PIN. There is nothing to install.
Keep writing. Entries are saved on the phone and sync on their own once the connection is back.
Only you and the family members who joined your desk with the PIN. A forwarded link alone shows nothing, and you can remove a phone anytime.
₹151 once per wedding (introductory price), not per desk. Your first 10 entries are free, so you can try it before the big day. You can add and edit entries for 30 days from the wedding date.
